Dog License Fees:

*Annual licenses are valid from January 1 - December 31

State law requires all dogs over 3 months of age to be licensed

*Residents must be 65 or have a disability to purchase a Senior Citizen License or a Senior Citizen Lifetime License.

Additional Information:

  • Annual Dog Licenses are available by mail, County Treasurer's Office, or at Agents located throughout the County.
  • If the license is issued by an Agent of the County Treasurer, an additional $0.50 will be charged.
  • In order to provide added convenience and service to the pet owner, a Dog License Renewal Application is on the web for dog owners in Mercer County.
  • It is very important that you keep the dog owner's name on the application the same every year, or the dog may be listed under different owners for different years and it will appear that one of these owners did not renew the license.
  • If you have more than one dog, please print this form and complete one application for each pet. If you wish to apply by mail, please complete and return the application, with the proper license fee to:
