Ann Coleman

Ann Coleman Personal
Ann has been married to her husband Randy since 1996 and is the mother of two wonderful adult children. She currently works as an adjunct professor of political science at Thiel College and South Dakota State University. Ann is a graduate of Duquesne University and Kent State University.

Work Experience
Ann has worked in the PA House of Representatives, the Senate of PA, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Her experience working at all levels of government – local, state, and federal – means she knows how government works. Because of that knowledge, Ann understands that the best leaders are available, accountable, and always put the people first. As your next commissioner, she will work each day to ensure that Mercer County continues to be a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family.

Bill Finley

Bill Finley Jr. is a dedicated family person, community leader, and public servant with a lifelong commitment to the county of Mercer, PA. Born and raised in this close-knit community, Bill Finley has vast array of experiences and contributions over the years.

Family holds a special place in Bill's heart, with his loving wife Carly and three wonderful daughters who bring joy and fulfillment to their home. Together, they form the foundation of Bill's support and motivation.

Dedicated to his hometown, Bill has been a volunteer firefighter since 1992, responding to countless emergencies and calls for assistance. In 2006, Bill took on the crucial role of Fire Chief, showcasing leadership skills that have helped shape the local firefighting efforts.

In addition to his commitment to public safety, Bill is also a proud small business owner since 2013. Through this venture, he has contributed to the local economy and created opportunities for others in Mercer.

The dedication to community service extends beyond firefighting, as Bill served two terms on the Mercer Borough Council. In this role, he played a vital part in decision-making processes, ensuring that the town could meet the needs of its residents.

Bill embodies the spirit of Mercer, PA, having dedicated his life to the well-being of the community. Whether fighting fires, leading local initiatives, or managing his business, Bill is a true hometown champion, leaving an indelible mark on the place he proudly calls home.

Timothy M. McGonigle

Timothy McGonigle Commissioner Timothy M. McGonigle became a County Commissioner in 2016 and he is a third term Commissioner with his current term ending in 2027. Tim previously served on the Hermitage School Board for several years and was also elected twice to serve on the Democratic State Committee representing Mercer County.

A lifelong resident of Mercer County, he graduated from Kennedy Christian High School in 1985. Tim studied at Gannon University (Erie); and Penn State University (Shenango Valley Campus).

Tim successfully passed the Emergency Medical Technician Course in 1987 and worked for several years at McGonigle Ambulance Service Inc., Hermitage. He graduated in 1989 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and successfully received both State and National Certification. After receiving his Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s License in 1990, he practiced for 27 years as a funeral director in both Sharon and New Castle. He enjoys serving on many boards throughout the county and is active with both CCAP and NACO. Tim enjoys serving throughout the community with many non profits and community based organizations. He and his family belong to the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, and he is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 684 Sharon, and the 4th degree assembly.

Tim loves the outdoors and his hobbies include hunting, golfing, and snowboarding. His wife is Christina McGonigle and together they have raised three adult daughters, Lauren, Sarah, and Caroline McGonigle
