    Through collaboration with the community, Mercer County Children and Youth Services will assess children and families that are at risk of child abuse or neglect. Mercer County Children and Youth Services will focus on family strengths to provide quality services in order to protect children and provide them with permanency, safety, and well-being. Mercer County Children and Youth Services will educate the community on what constitutes child abuse/neglect and how cultural and socio-economic factors impact children and families.

This department holds the oversight of the contractual relationship with the Behavioral Health Commission. The value our office gives to each property will generate the tax amount for your County Government, Local Government & School District. Other duties of the office include the maintenance of all real estate and personal records, updating, revisions, analyzing deed transfer in reference to mapping, reviewing existing construction and correspondence and personal contact with the public.

    The Mercer County Tax Claim Bureau is responsible for the collection of all delinquent real estate taxes for the school districts and the City, Township and Boroughs situate in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. PLEASE NOTE: The Mercer County Tax Claim Bureau does not collect current year real estate taxes. All current year real estate taxes should be paid to the Local Tax Collector for your district.
