PREFACE

The Rules of the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County, 35 th Judicial District, are intended to supplement the Rules of Civil Procedure promulgated by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. The latter's system of numbering has been preserved. Each local rule dealing with the same subject matter as one of the Rules of Civil Procedure has been given the same number. All local rules are preceded by the letter "L" to indicate their local character. All local rules must be read in connection with the Rules of Civil Procedure bearing the same numbers.
