Hard-To-Recycle 9:00 AM -1:00 PM City of Farrell Municipal Building, 500 Roemer Boulevard, Farrell, PA The Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department offers a program for the collection of select hard-to-recycle items. Collection days are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9 AM to 1 PM, and transition between locations in Mercer and Lawrence counties. Clean and Green Workshop 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM THIEL COLLEGE - SAWHILL GEORGIAN ROOM IN THE HOWARD MILLER STUDENT CENTER GREENVILLE, PA 16125 The County of Mercer will be holding three Clean & Green Workshops that will be conducted by the Mercer County Tax Assessment Office and Stephanie Zimmerman, Director of the Bureau of Farmland Preservation. Clean & Green is a preferential tax assessment program, that bases property taxes on use values rather than fair market values. This ordinarily results in tax savings for landowners.
