The County of Mercer will be holding three Clean & Green Workshops in November that will be conducted by the Mercer County Tax Assessment Office and Stephanie Zimmerman, Director of the Bureau of Farmland Preservation.

Clean & Green is a preferential tax assessment program, that bases property taxes on use values rather than fair market values. This ordinarily results in tax savings for landowners. The Pennsylvania General Assembly enacted this program in 1974 as a tool to encourage protection of the Commonwealth's valuable farmland, forestland and open spaces.

•  The deadline to register to vote for the November 4, 2025 Municipal Election is October 20, 2025.


•  The Last day to request a Mail-In ballot is October 28, 2025 by 5:00 PM


•  Mail-In Ballots must be returned by 8 pm on November 4, 2025.
