2025 Upset Tax Sale
LEGAL NOTICE THE SALE OF ANY PROPERTY MAY, AT THE OPTION OF THE BUREAU, BE STAYED IF THE OWNER THEREOF, OR ANY LIEN CREDITOR, BEFORE THE SALE, ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE BUREAU TO PAY THE TAXES DUE IN INSTALLMENTS IN A MANNER PROVIDED BY LAW. IF A PARTY TO AN INSTALLMENT PAYMENT AGREEMENT DEFAULTS ON SAID AGREEMENT, THE BUREAU WILL NOT ENTER INTO A NEW INSTALLMENT PAYMENT AGREEMENT, WITH SAID PARTY, FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS OF DEFAULT. TERMS OF SALE: THE PURCHASE PRICE, RECORDING FEES, AND REALTY TRANSFER TAXES SHALL BE PAID, IN CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER, TO THE BUREAU PRIOR TO THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON THE DATE OF THE SALE. NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. BE ADVISED THAT THE COUNTY OF MERCER, PENNSYLVANIA, AND THE MERCER COUNTY TAX CLAIM BUREAU, DO NOT WARRANT NOR CERTIFY THE TITLES TO THE PROPERTIES AND IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ANY PERSON DESIRING TO PURCHASE ANY OF THE PROPERTIES, EXAMINE THE TITLES THERETO, OR SEEK APPROPRIATE LEGAL COUNSEL. PLEASE NOTE: NO PERSON OR ENTITY WILL BE PERMITTED TO BID ON ANY OF THE PROPERTIES UNLESS THEY REGISTER WITH THE TAX CLAIM BUREAU AND PROVIDE ALL THE PROPER PAPERWORK NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 5, 2025 BY 4:00 P.M. PURSUANT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ACT OF JUNE 30, 2021, P.L. No. 33 AND DEPOSIT WITH THE TAX CLAIM BUREAU A $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE IN CASH OR CERTIFIED OR BANK CHECK – NO EXCEPTIONS.
