Boat Registration Fees:
Boat registrations are valid until December 31st of the year after the year you register the boat. Registrations are required for all powered boats but can be purchased for unpowered boats in leu of launch permits if you choose.

For all boat registrations, there is a $10 clerical fee that must be paid separately with cash or check.
• The Mercer County Treasurer’s Office does not currently have a notary on staff and therefor cannot process title transfers.
The Mercer County Treasurer’s Office can assist with Boat Registration renewals but charges a $10 clerical fee. The renewal will need to be paid with a credit card, but the clerical fee must be paid with check or cash. Registrations renewals can be processed on your own online or through the mail to the Boat Commission.
