Any hunting license can be purchased through the Mercer County Treasurer’s Office or directly from the Game Commission online. You can now only use your CID number (from a previous license) or your driver’s license (if already on file) to purchase your hunting license. SSN are no longer a means to look up your hunting license profile.
Hunting Licenses only sold by County Treasurer’s or Game Commission in person:
• Resident Landowner Antlerless Deer
• Nonresident Landowner Antlerless Deer
• Resident Disabled Veteran Lifetime Hunting License (if qualified)
• Resident Disabled Veteran Lifetime Furtaker License (if qualified)
The Treasurer’s Office can replace any lost or destroyed hunting license/permit for a fee per license or permit printed.
Payments Accepted: Cash, Check, Credit Card (with fee)
On June 13, 2011, the Pennsylvania Automated License System (PALS) was activated fully for the sale of Hunting Licenses- Hunters will swipe their Pennsylvania driver's license through a magnetic reader
- All the information from the driver's license will be automatically filled in on the computer
- Hunters will then select the license and stamps they will purchase
- Non-Residents and individuals who do not have a driver's license will have the data keyed into the computer for them
- A permanent customer identification (CID) number will be assigned to each hunter.
- The first time a hunter purchases a license through this system they will have to furnish their social security number
